Made of sheet steel, two hands clasped
Stainless and bare, or coated dark
Edges are blunt and sharp enough
Can sometimes trap a rat on its grips,
Or no more than a tiny bag for a doll
Size pertinent to the jumble of sheets--
flying in disarray, if only unattached.
As steady as the stacks, it rusts not.
In constant tension, it can
only hold so much weight,
‘til it snaps.
‘til it snaps.
